The idea behind it.

Claire Ofotokun, known as COFO, graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2021. Gabriel Daniels photographed the milestone through directed graduation portraits, celebration photographs, and animated image sequences, with high-end retouching for the finished collection.

The challenge

Record Claire’s graduation as a complete personal milestone: the university setting, the Class of 2021 regalia, and the energy of the celebration. The direction needed to feel composed without losing the spontaneity of the moment.

The direction

Gabriel Daniels led the photography and creative direction at Emory University in Atlanta. Graduation regalia, the university entrance, and celebration portraits provided the visual anchors. High-end retouching and selected animated treatments brought the still and moving images into one coordinated collection.
